The Olympiad at Beijing had a spectacular show of major sporting events that each and every country took part in it. As per the Olynpics is concerned, it is actually a major event to show case the event and their valour.
India had a couple of good players, who went to the Beijing Olympics with lots of Hope, they were Neha Agarwal (Table-tennis), Akhil kumar (Boxing) and they have shown a good performance which was worth their effort.
The First Indian medal was a Gold in Shooting, won by ABHINAV BINDRA
The Next Indian medal was a Bronze in Wrestling, won by SUSHIL KUMAR
The Next Indian medal would have been a Gold but due to the ill-fate in Boxing, was a Bronze, won by VIJENDER KUMAR.
These games and sports always make a point that there is no one equal to oneself, if sheer practice is put on.
